This is a great place to get more understanding of how to use hashtags. I have been using social media for a while and sometimes had no idea what would be a great hashtag to use to generate followers or even likes. I went through a few businesses to see how they used hashtags and if each post would be effective.

They have 1,520 followers. Not too bad for a Customer service trainer. As scroll through the post they are great in strategy, the post only generates about 15-16 likes when the post advertises the business they generate 20-30 likes and comments when the creator posts photos of herself and other people together (personal) the likes and comments jump to 30-45. Their customer service experience utilizes a lot of hashtags and just about every post uses the same ones. However, they are not as effective in generating loyal followers to like each post. There was one visual post that was recorded of Timi -the creator teaching, a more live-action divided between video and photo editing. It generated 52 likes. For them, this would be the direct approach to generating profit. One thing I notice is Timi, posts every 7 hours every day.

They have a great page, consistent with photos and a color scheme. They seem to be out of London, advertising hospitality training. They are not short of likes with 30-85 likes when posting. After checking when they post, they have not since 2019. Currently, they have 565 followers. What I notice is they do have great post comments alone with adding one word in the. The company would comment on the same post with just the hashtag. I never thought about that before, which makes perfect sense. This way those hashtags are consistently used for an easier find. #hospitalitymanagement #constantlyimproving #positiveattitude #skillstraining #hospitality #thehospitalitytrainingcompany #customerservice #customerservice101
It was interesting there were not a lot of Customer Service training jobs. My interest is being hired to train agents/representatives on how to be better customer service experts. This is going to require a lot more research. However, with the hashtag, I notice that you have to be creative, and per the post may not be able to use the same ones. I also realize that turning your business name into a hashtag will help people locate you in a search, especially if you use customer service in the hashtag.
Hi Denise. I agree with you, it is definitely important to get a little bit creative when it comes to coming up with hashtags. Making them specific to each post is a great idea as well.
