What I had not thought about was email marketing or newsletters, especially for my business. There are so many that I received, I kinda felt they were a nuisance. The most frustrating part was trying to find a link to remove from the mailer when you couldn't remember when your name was added to the list. My business which is customer service does not need a newsletter. At least not until it's fully established and my business retains licenses of products and a clientele list of people.
If I decided to draft a newsletter, it would have how clients have benefited from my service. A little bit about the service and who I am. What was the concept behind my company "Inside the Circle CS Specialist". I would send it out monthly for the first six months and if the business has grown I would test out every two weeks for the other six months. As the company grows so will the newsletters because hopefully there will be a lot more concepts to add to it.
Hi Denise, I can understand where you are coming from when you say some of the newsletters can be a nuisance. I hadn't considered a newsletter for my business since I don't really subscribe to them. But now I can see the potential benefits and ended up creating one for myself. I like your idea of progressing to more frequent newsletters. I think its great you want to include how clients have benefited, maybe you could include testimonials from clients? Great job. =)
